Meg has had an interest in art and artists for as long as she can remember. While living in France in the eighties she had the opportunity to visit the art galleries of Paris and the haunts of many famous artists. Working as an infant teacher provided her with the platform to share this knowledge and experience with her pupils and to encourage them to paint in various styles. After retiring she began experimenting with acrylic paint but now works largely with textiles which she feels is her forte. Meg recently gained her certificate in Textiles and Embroidery. She finds inspiration in living by the sea and her frequent visits to the islands on Mull and Iona.
